What this guide stores and sends

This note describes the supplied static website, not WantYou or a future hosting provider.

Favorites stay in this browser

The homepage saves favorite character IDs under the local-storage key unscripted:favorites:v1. Selecting the heart again removes a favorite. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes the saved list. If storage is unavailable, favorites work only in the current page session.

Scene text and clipboard

The supplied script builds starter text and shows prewritten branches on the page. It contains no chat API or form submission that sends this text to a server. It does not persist scene progress or starter edits. Copy buttons write text to your clipboard after you click them; you decide where to paste it. Reloading loses the current scene.

External requests

The homepage requests fonts from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash. Those requests expose ordinary connection information to those providers. The HTML sets a no-referrer policy. No claim of anonymity follows from that setting. A future web host may maintain its own access logs; those cannot be assessed from this file.

Following the WantYou link

The links open the external service. The supplied URLs contain no starter text or selected-character parameters. The external service’s account, payment and data practices are separate. Read its current policies on its site before entering information.

Scope of this note

This is a description based on the supplied HTML and script reviewed on September 21, 2026. It is not a complete operator privacy policy. A deployed site needs the real operator’s identity, contact details and an account of its hosting and any additional services.
